Book Review: To All The Boys Ive Loved Before Series By Jenny Han.
August 29, 2018To All The Boys I've Loved Before
What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them... all at once?
'Life doesn't have to be so planned. Just roll with it and let it happen.'
Even though i felt that sometimes the writing style was a little too juvenile for my liking, i absolutely loved the premise and plot of this story. I loved the family dynamic that Jenny Han had created and felt like it was such a realistic portrayal with the family traditions, inside jokes, love and secrets.
I also loved the dynamic between Lara-Jean and Peter, and also Lara-Jean and Josh. Completely different but they worked so well.
This is a fast paced, fluffy book and one that i very much needed at this time which made it the perfect read

P.S. I Still Love You
Lara Jean didn't expect to really fall for Peter. She and Peter were just pretending. Except suddenly they weren't. Now Lara Jean is more confused than ever.
'When you lose someone and it still hurts, that's when you know the love was real'
I thought that the second book was even better then the first! I just love Lara Jean so much, I think her naivety and sweetness just absolutely makes her adorable. I found myself wanting to bake all the goodies, i laughed, i cried and overall this was the perfect follow up to the first.
I thought Jenny Han did a great job in portraying what would happen in a school if there was tape of two people in a hot tub allegedly having sex and thought it was well written.
Always And Forever, Lara Jean.
Lara Jean is having the best senior year. Then she will be off to college with Peter, at a school close enough for her to come home and bake cookies at the weekends. Life couldn't be more perfect. At least thats what Lara Jean thinks... until she gets some unexpected news.
'I guess that's part of growing up, too -- saying goodbye to the things you used to love'
What a cute end to a cute story! I loved how all three books tied together in the last and I'm so sad that I finished them. I would have happily read another fifty of her life.
I thought Lara-Jean did some serious growing up in this book and although at the start she did annoy me by being more worried about her relationship when it came to college and if she got in or not, i thought by the end she fully grasped that a relationship while a big part of someones life shouldn't let you hinder your chances at success.
Peter in this to me was a little insufferable, even though he has been all throughout the book series i let it slide because he could bring himself back to being okay. However for nearly all the book i thought he was selfish and whiney and being a little baby. Also what was his mum all about! What an arsehole seriously.
Overall I think this book was a great end to a story and I wish we could have a book where Lara-Jean is all grown up to see what happened. Maybe one day!
